QUARTERLY SUSPENSION UPDATE
In terms of paragraph 1.11(c) of the JSE Listings Requirements, the Company is required to provide
an update to shareholders regarding the current state of affairs of the Company until the suspension
is lifted.
Shareholders are advised that the Company was suspended for the late publication of its Annual
Report for the year ended 31 August 2020 and are referred to the quarterly suspension update
announcement published on SENS on 12 April 2022 as well as the Cautionary Announcement
published on 7 July 2022.
An associate company of the Orion Group made an offer to purchase creditors debts in order to
recapitalise the Company. This offer was mostly ignored or rejected. Consequently, the Company
has been unable to meet the deadline of 30 June 2022 for publishing its accounts for the years
ended 31 August 2020 and 31 August 2021 and for the quarters ended 30 November 2020,
28 February 2021, 31 May 2021, 31 August 2021 and 30 November 2021.
Accordingly, SEM is in the process of considering the termination of the listing, which is expected
during August 2022.
New Frontier holds primary listings on the Official Market of the SEM and the Alternative Exchange
of the JSE.
