TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited, companies are required to publish a
trading statement as soon as they become reasonably certain that the financial results for
the next period to be reported on will differ by more than 20% from that of the previous
corresponding period.
Accordingly, a review of the financial results for period ended 31 August 2019 by the
Company has indicated that the loss per share and headline loss per share is expected to be
between 33.30 cents and 37.19 cents, reflecting an increase in the loss per share and
headline loss per share of between 71.35% and 91.35% compared to the loss per share and
headline loss per share of 19.43 cents for the period ended 31 August 2018. The reason the
loss per share and headline loss per share increased for the period ending 31 August 2019
relates to one-off costs incurred in completing the Initial Public Offering on the Australian
Stock Exchange and conclusion of the US$ 40 million loan agreement with the Overseas
Private Investment Corporation during the last six months.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or
reported on by the Company’s auditors.
The results for the year ended 31 August 2019 are expected to be released on SENS on or
about 27 September 2019.
