NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF INTEGRATED REPORT 2021

SANRAL hereby notifies its debt investors that it has publicly released its Integrated Report 2021,
incorporating the audited annual financial statements (“AFS”) for the year ended 31 March 2021.

The Auditor-General of South Africa, being the auditors of SANRAL, has issued an unqualified audit
report and has concluded that SANRAL’s consolidated and separate financial statements present
fairly, in all material respects, the financial position of the Company as at 31 March 2021.

In addition, the following matters were raised in the audit report and the auditors’ opinion was not
modified in respect of these matters:

   •      emphasis of matters relating to:
           o       material impairments - trade and other receivables; and
           o       irregular expenditure,

   •     a material uncertainty that may cast significant doubt on SANRAL’s ability to continue as a
         going concern; and

   •     reportable material irregularities have been identified by the auditors during the audit
         which have been notified to the accounting authority.

Restatements

Note 39 Financial Instruments and risk management contains a restatement to correct the amount
disclosed for trade and other receivables. This correction does not affect the amount disclosed on
the primary AFS and therefore is not considered as a material prior error.

A disclosure error made in the prior year has been identified and corrected in the current period.
The error was caused by an apportionment formula error and has no impact on the primary AFS. Full
details are disclosed in note 42 Segment information of the AFS.

The Integrated Report 2021 incorporating the AFS and the audit report, are available on SANRAL’s
website at www.nra.co.za/about-us/integrated-report/ and for inspection at SANRAL’s registered
office.
