COMMITTEES

In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, Zeder’s board
of directors (“the Board”) regrets to advise that Rudi Jansen, who served as an independent
non-executive director of the Company since January 2019, sadly passed away on Saturday,
4 September 2021.

In addition to serving as chairman of the Board’s audit and risk committee, Rudi was also a
member of its remuneration and nomination committees.

Rudi’s selfless sharing of his extensive knowledge and experience with the Board and Zeder
management was testament to his character. He made an invaluable contribution to the
Company and will be remembered as a remarkable individual and friend.

The Board, executive management and all staff of the Company extend our deepest
condolences to Rudi’s family and friends.

The Board confirms that Shameema Cassiem, a chartered accountant (SA), has been
appointed as chairperson of the audit and risk committee with immediate effect, while
Nonhlanhla Mjoli-Mncube has been appointed to the remuneration and nomination
committees, both being independent non-executive directors of the Company.
