TRADING STATEMENT


In terms of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited, companies are required to publish a trading statement as
soon as they become reasonably certain that the financial results for the period to be reported on will differ by
more than 20% from that of the previous corresponding period.

Accordingly, a review of the financial results for the year ended 30 June 2020 by management has indicated
that:

-   the earnings per share (“EPS”) is expected to be between 2.73 cents and 10.35 cents, reflecting a decrease
    of between 96.4% and 86.4% compared to the EPS of 76.26 cents for the year ended 30 June 2019; and

-   the headline earnings per share (“HEPS”) is expected to be between 44.65 cents and 51.81 cents,
    reflecting a decrease of between 37.7% and 27.7% compared to the HEPS of 71.64 cents for the year
    ended 30 June 2019.

The decrease reflected above is attributed largely to the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on the trading
operations and property portfolios of the Group’s associates.

The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or reported on by
Putprop’s auditors. Putprop's financial results are expected to be released on SENS on or about
3 September 2020.
