APPOINTMENT OF A NEW CREDIT RATING AGENCY

In terms of paragraph 7.43 of the JSE Debt Listings Requirements, noteholders are advised that
SANRAL has terminated the services of Moody’s Investor Services as its credit rating agency with effect
from 30 June 2018, which was the contract expiry date.

Noteholders are further advised that, following a tender process, Global Credit Ratings Co. has been
appointed as the Issuer’s new credit rating agency with effect from 1 October 2018.
