                     Completion of asset sale - Kruidfontein prospecting right

Further to the release by Aquarius Platinum Limited ("Aquarius" or the "Company") on 30 January
2014, Aquarius advises that the sale of its indirect interest in the Kruidfontein prospecting right
("Kruidfontein Right") to Pilanesberg Platinum Mines (Pty) Ltd has been completed, following which
Aquarius’ subsidiary received South African Rands equivalent to USD27.0 million (before Capital
Gains Tax "CGT") in cash on 1 December 2014.

Aquarius will, in settlement of the contractual obligation to the original vendors of the interests in
the Kruidfontein Right, within 10 business days, elect to pay an amount of USD10.8 million (before
CGT) to the original vendors either in cash or by the issue of Aquarius shares to same value, or by a
combination of cash and shares.
