DECLARED DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON SABMILLER PLC HOT ENHANCED DIVIDEND SECURITIES –
(“SABIHG”)


With reference to the dividend announcement, the Directors of SABMiller Plc have recommended that, subject to
approval by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting held on Thursday 24 July 2014, a dividend of 80.0 US
cents per ordinary share be payable on Friday, 15 August 2014 to ordinary shareholders, recorded in the books of
the company at the close of business on Friday, 08 August 2014. The shareholders accordingly approved this
recommendation at the said Annual General Meeting.

The currency exchange rate applicable for the dividend is USD: ZAR = 10.553450 as at 23 July 2014.


In terms of the new Dividend Tax effective 1 April 2012, the following additional information is disclosed:

1)   local dividend tax rate is 15%;and
2)   no STC credits available; and
3)   net local dividend amount is 717.63460 South African cents per share for shareholders liable to pay the new
     Dividends Tax; and 844.27600 South African cents per share for shareholders exempt from paying the new
     Dividends Tax; and
4)   Investec Bank Limited Income Tax Number: 9675/053/71/5, and


Accordingly, the holders of SABIHG will receive an SABMiller Plc dividend amount on Friday, 15 August 2014 in
terms of the Cession clause incorporated in the Supplement between the holders and Investec Bank Limited. The
last day to trade (“cum” the dividend) in order to participate in the dividend is Friday, 01 August 2014.

SABIHG Hot Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading “ex” the dividend from the commencement of
business on Monday, 04 August 2014, and the record date will be Friday, 08 August 2014.
