UPDATE REGARDING JCI`S ANNUAL FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR THE YEARS ENDED 31       
MARCH 2005 - 31 MARCH 2010                                                      
Further to the SENS announcement of 29 March 2011, JCI wishes to advise that    
it and IFA Boschendal Investments (Pty) Ltd, the two shareholders in            
Boschendal (Pty) Ltd ("Boschendal"), which is JCI`s largest asset, are in       
negotiations. As a result of these negotiations, Boschendal is unable to        
finalise its annual financial statements which has resulted in JCI being        
unable to finalise its annual financial statements.                             
Consequently JCI will not be able to post its financial statements on 3 May     
2011.  Shareholders will be advised of the date of posting of its financial     
statements and the date of the JCI annual general meeting as soon as these can  
be determined.                                                                  
Shareholders are referred to the cautionary announcement dated 11 March 2011    
and are advised that the negotiations referred to therein are continuing.       
Shareholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing in JCI shares until   
a further announcement is made.
