                   Glencore Distribution Treatment - Informative Notice

 This notice confirms that the distribution by Glencore plc (GLN, JE00B4T3BW64), which was approved
 by shareholders at the annual general meeting held on Wednesday 29 May 2024, with an Ex-Date of
 Wednesday 28 August 2024, will be treated as an ordinary cash dividend in the FTSE/JSE Africa Index
 Series. There will be no price adjustment in the Capital Index, the distribution will be applied in the Total
 Return Index.

 Additionally, all future distributions by Glencore which are made from the capital contribution reserves
 will be treated as ordinary cash dividends. Glencore is headquartered in Switzerland, therefore this
 treatment is in accordance with the below extract from Section 4.2 of the Corporate Actions Guide:

 "Capital repayments are paid to shareholders as a return of capital and are generally applied with a price
 adjustment unless company policy is such that regular dividends are reported in this way (common in
 Switzerland)."
