RESIGNATION OF THE COMPANY SECRETARY OF AFRICAN BANK

In accordance with paragraph 6.39 of the JSE Limited Debt Listings Requirements, African Bank
noteholders are advised that Mrs Maliga Chetty (“Maliga”) tendered her resignation as the Group
Company Secretary (the “Company Secretary”) on 1 March 2023, to pursue endeavours outside of
the Bank. Mrs Chetty’s last day at the Bank will be 14 March 2023.

The process of recruiting and appointing a new Company Secretary has commenced and will be
announced once this process has been concluded.

African Bank’s Chairman of the board, Thabo Dloti, stated, “I would like to thank Maliga on behalf
of the board for her invaluable contribution to the group over the past 4 years. We wish her all
the best with her next endeavours.”
