EXTENSION OF POSTING DATE OF CIRCULAR

1. Shareholders of Grit are referred to the SENS announcement dated 12 September 2017 whereby shareholders were
   advised that the Company entered into a put option agreement, as amended on 8 September 2017 with the
   Government Employees Pension Fund in South Africa represented by Public Investment Corporation Limited (“PIC”),
   in terms of which the Company agreed to provide the PIC with a put option as detailed in the SENS announcement
   dated 12 September 2017 (“Transaction”) and that the Transaction has been deemed to be a related party
   transaction by the JSE Limited (“JSE”), requiring shareholder approval.

2. Shareholders are hereby advised that the JSE has granted the Company an extension in relation to the distribution
   date of the circular relating to the Transaction (“Circular”), until 15 December 2017.

3. Shareholders will be advised in due course of the salient dates and times relating to the Transaction and the general
   meeting of shareholders to be convened in order for shareholders to consider and vote on the resolutions required
   in respect of the Transaction.
