Update in respect of the timing of the publication of annual financial results and renewal of the
cautionary announcement

Further to the announcement released by the Company on SENS on 1 June 2016, shareholders are
hereby advised that the Company will not be in a position to publish its annual financial results by
30 June 2016 and, in accordance with section 3.17(b) of the JSE Listings Requirements, the Company
will therefore be under threat of suspension by the JSE for failure to timeously publish its annual financial
results.

As mentioned in the announcement released on SENS on 13 June 2016, the board of directors of MRI
(“the Board”) are in the process of pursuing various opportunities to re-establish the Company as a
going concern in either its current or another form. Shareholders are advised that opportunities pursued
to date have not reached fruition however the Board continues to seek such opportunities and will
update shareholders as and when appropriate.

Shareholders should continue to exercise caution when dealing in the Company’s shares until a further
announcement in this regard is made.
