APPOINTMENT OF NEW MEMBER OF SOCIAL AND ETHICS COMMITTEE

In compliance with the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, the
following information is disclosed:

The board is pleased to announce that Mr T J Motsohi, being an
independent non-executive director of the Company and meeting the
criteria for membership of the statutory Social and Ethics
Committee as provided for in Section 72 read with Regulation 43 of
the Companies Act, 2008, is appointed to the Company’s Social,
Ethics and Transformation Committee (being the Company’s board
committee which fulfills the statutory duties provided for in
Section 72 read with Regulation 43 of the Companies Act, 2008),
with effect from 1 June 2013.
