CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

In accordance with paragraph 3.59(c) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, shareholders
are advised of the following changes to the board of directors of Transcend (the “Board”) which will
take effect from 1 January 2021:

    -   Mr Solly Mboweni will step down from his role as the Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) of the
        Company in order to fulfil another role within the International Housing Solutions South Africa
        group, and will assume the role of a non-executive director of Transcend; and

    -   Mr Myles Kritzinger, the current Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”), will be appointed as the new
        CEO.

The Board wishes Solly and Myles well in their new roles.

A further announcement will be made as soon as the Company has identified a suitable replacement
for the role of CFO.
