WITHDRAWAL OF CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT

Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on SENS on 9 September 2019
regarding an offer by an international investor to subscribe for shares in Labat in terms of a
general authority to issue shares for cash (“Proposed Transaction”), as well as the renewal of
cautionary announcement released on SENS on 22 November 2019 in respect of the Proposed
Transaction (“Cautionary Announcement”).

Shareholders are advised that the negotiations pertaining to the Proposed Transaction have
been terminated and the Cautionary Announcement is hereby withdrawn. Shareholders are
therefore no longer required to exercise caution when dealing in the Company’s securities.
