CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT


Shareholders are advised that Sentula has entered into negotiations with Miranda, Mochiba Investments
Proprietary Limited and Jay and Jayendra Proprietary Limited (collectively referred to hereinafter as the
“Miranda Consortium”) regarding the proposed disposal by Sentula of its 60% indirectly held interest in the
Nkomati Anthracite Mine to the Miranda Consortium. The aforementioned disposal may, if successfully
concluded have a material effect on the price of Sentula and Miranda’s securities.

Accordingly, shareholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing in Sentula and Miranda’s securities
until a further announcement is made.
