DIRECTORS` CHANGE OF FUNCTION                                                   
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited,  
the board of directors of Poynting ("the Board") hereby notifies its            
shareholders that Mr Richard Willis, currently alternate director to Mr Clive   
Douglas, has been appointed to the Board as a non-executive director, with      
effect from 1 March 2010. Richard will also join the audit, remuneration and    
investment committees with effect from 1 March 2010.                            
Clive, currently a non-executive director of Poynting, will now assume the role 
of alternate director to Richard, with effect from 1 March 2010.
