Appointment of the acting Group Chief Financial Officer as Executive Director

Further to the announcement released on SENS on 04 December 2020 relating to the resignation of Ms
TBL Molefe and the subsequent appointment of Mr Dirk Reyneke as the acting Group Chief Financial
Officer (“Group CFO”), the Board of Telkom is delighted to advise shareholders that Mr Dirk Reyneke has
accepted the appointment as an Executive Director of the Company with effect from 14 December 2020.

The Board advises shareholders that a comprehensive recruitment process will commence regarding the
appointment of a permanent Group CFO, and further details will be provided in due course.

The above appointment has been made pursuant to Telkom’s policy dealing with the nomination of
directors.
