CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND MANAGEMENT OF THE COMPANY
In compliance with section 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited shareholders
are informed that:
1. Matt Long has resigned as a director of RBA. Matt will ensure an orderly handover of
his duties over the next three months. The business rescue practitioner and the board
of directors would like to thank Matt sincerely for his contribution to the Company and
the RBA Group and wishes him success in his future endeavours.
2. Des Hughes, who has been acting CEO since March 2016, will be handing over to
Riaan Roos who has been appointed as the CEO and director of RBA with effect from
today. Riaan is a seasoned property developer with more than 24 years’ experience
in the industry and he was one of the founding members of RBA Developments in
1994.
3. Riaan Roos is the owner of MSP Developments (Pty) Ltd (“MSP”) and MSP has been
appointed as the manager of RBA, under the auspices of the business rescue
practitioner, Trevor Glaum.
4. As noted in the SENS announcement of 19 September 2016 Pieter Lessingh is
currently the acting CFO of RBA. The board and business rescue practitioner are
pleased to announce that Pieter has been appointed as the CFO effective 19 October
2016.
