connected persons in accordance with DTR 3.1.4

The independent trustee of the SABMiller plc Employees' Benefit Trust (the Trustee) notified the
Company on 5 December 2014 that awards made to a director and to a person discharging
managerial responsibility (PDMRs) participating in the SABMiller plc Executive Share Award Plan
2008 had vested on 1 December and that the Trustee had, on 5 December 2014, exercised its
discretion and released 23,935 ordinary shares in SABMiller plc, as summarised in the table below.
These shares relate to awards made in 2011. The shares sold were to cover income tax and social
security contributions, with the balance of the shares being retained by the PDMRs. The Trustee
exercised its right to repurchase the shares sold at the price on the vesting date, being £35.64.
