TOTAL VOTING RIGHTS AND SHARES IN ISSUE
The Company’s issued ordinary share capital at today’s date comprises 4,896,992,874 ordinary
shares of 11 3/7p each and, in accordance with Rule 5.6.1R of the Disclosure and Transparency
Rules, the total number of voting rights for the purposes of calculating disclosable interests in the
Company’s ordinary share capital is also 4,896,992,874.
The Company is making block listing returns relating to shares issued under employee share plans to
the UK Listing Authority covering the period from 22 January 2013 to 4 November 2013. Changes to
the number of shares in issue since 21 January 2013 (including other changes already announced to
market) are made up as follows:
