Change to the board of directors
In compliance with section 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, Nictus shareholders
are advised that, in line with Nictus and Mr JL Olivier’s retirement arrangement, Mr Olivier has retired
from his positions as independent non-executive director and chairman of the remuneration
committee of the Company, with effect from 15 October 2013.
The Board of Directors of Nictus (the “Board”) would like to thank Mr Olivier for his valuable
contribution to the Company and wishes him well in his future endeavours.
The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Gerard Swart as an independent, non-
executive director and chairman of the remuneration committee, with effect from 15 October 2013.
Mr Swart is a qualified chartered accountant (South African and Namibia) and boasts 34 years’
experience in the accounting profession, of which 24 years as audit partner. Mr Swart is also the
managing partner at a chartered accountant and audit firm.
