Central Rand Gold Ltd ("CRG" or "the Company"), the South African gold mining   
and exploration company announces that KPMG has been appointed as auditor to the
Company in place of Moore Stephens LLP. KPMG`s global presence and expertise    
within the mining industry means that it is able to provide an expert global    
service to CRG going forward.                                                   
There were no reservations in Moore Stephens LLP`s reports for recently         
completed financial years or for any period subsequent to the most recently     
completed period for which an audit report was issued and preceding the date of 
the appointment of KPMG.
