Interim 2022 Dividend and Enhanced Scrip Dividend Alternative

Further to the announcement of the Interim 2022 Dividend and the Enhanced Scrip
Dividend Alternative on Thursday, 28 July 2022, the Board of Hammerson plc announces
that valid elections to participate in the Enhanced Scrip Dividend Alternative were
received from Shareholders holding 3,894,015,908 Shares. Accordingly, the number of
New Shares to be issued under the Enhanced Scrip Dividend Alternative is 388,170,526.
Therefore, applications have been submitted for 388,170,526 New Shares to be
admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange, Euronext Dublin and the
Johannesburg Stock Exchange, which will bring the total number of issued 5 pence
ordinary shares in the Company to 5,002,265,607.
The New Shares are expected to be issued and admitted to trading on the Main Market
of the London Stock Exchange, Euronext Dublin and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange
on Thursday, 3 November 2022. A further announcement will be released to confirm
when those New Shares have been issued and admitted to trading on the respective
stock exchanges.
Unless otherwise stated, capitalised terms in this announcement shall have the
meanings given to them in the Circular dated Wednesday, 28 September 2022 in
connection with (amongst other things) the Interim 2022 Dividend and Enhanced Scrip
