In compliance with paragraph 3.63 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements (“Listings Requirements”),
shareholders are notified that, in terms of a shareholders’ resolution approved at a general meeting held
on 3 May 2016, Ecsponent ordinary shares were issued to the following directors of the Company, on
31 December 2016 in an off-market trade to partially settle their directors’ fees in respect of the 2016
calendar year, as indicated below:
