TRADING STATEMENT

In terms of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, a company is required to publish a trading statement
as soon as it becomes reasonably certain that the financial results for the next period to be reported
on will differ by at least 20% from those of the previous corresponding period.

For the financial year ended 31 March 2025, shareholders are advised that:

   •   earnings per share is expected to increase by 11% to 446.4 cents per share
       (March 2024: 401.8 cents per share); and
   •   headline earnings per share is expected to increase by 27% to 425.1 cents per share
       (March 2024: 334.5 cents per share).

The increase in earnings and headline earnings is mainly attributable to higher earnings in the Group's
banana and property segments.

The financial information on which this trading statement is based is the responsibility of the directors
of the Company and has not been reviewed or reported on by the Group's independent external
auditor.

The Company's results for the year ended 31 March 2025 will be published on or about 27 June 2025.
