CHANGES TO THE BOARD - CHANGE IN FUNCTION OF DIRECTORS


In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited, the board of directors of Taste
(“the Board”) hereby notifies its shareholders that Mr Bill Daly has resigned as Independent Non-Executive
Chairman with effect from 23 February 2016 and will remain on the Board as an Independent Non-Executive
Director.

Bill was appointed as the first Chairman of the Board of Scooters Pizza in 2000, which is the founding entity of
the Group. In his 16 year tenure as Chairman, Bill has seen the Group transform from a single brand, start-up
business to the multi-branded listed business that Taste is today, representing some of the world’s most
admired brands in their respective categories. The Board thanks Bill for his contribution to the Company as
Chairman and looks forward to his continued guidance as a director.

The Board is pleased to inform shareholders that Mr Grant Pattison, an Independent Non-Executive Director,
will assume the role of Independent Non-Executive Chairman of Taste with effect from 23 February 2016.
Grant joined the Board in March 2014 to provide his significant experience and advice as the Group advanced
its strategy to become the leading custodian and licensee of global brands. Grant currently serves on the boards
of several private companies in the roles of Independent Non-Executive Chairman and Director. Grant was
previously with South African retailer Massmart Holdings Limited for 16 years, the last seven of which as CEO,
during which time he led the sale of a majority stake in the company to US-based Wal-Mart Stores Inc. Grant
has also previously chaired the Consumers Good Council of South Africa and the Consumer Goods and
Services Ombudsmen.
