The above transaction was done on market but was not announced within the required
timelines as prescribed in the Listings Requirements of the JSE caused by an oversight
on the part of the director who was aware of the full discretionary mandate exercised
by a portfolio manager who had been instructed by the associate to restructure her
portfolio as the portfolio manager saw fit. The restructure resulted in a sale of
shares in several unrelated issuers in the associate’s portfolio but included the
disposal of SBK preference shares outlined above.
