Continuing Obligations for REITS

Pursuant to paragraph 13.50(c) of the JSE Listings Requirements (the “Requirements”) and the
announcement of 3 December 2018, the JSE hereby advises the market that the Issuer’s REIT status
will be removed from commencement of business on 7 February 2019.

In addition to not submitting the compliance declaration in terms of paragraph 13.49(d) of the
Requirements, the Issuer does not comply with the minimum spread requirements. The circular to
shareholders dated 13 April 2015, wherein approval was sought to obtain REIT status, stated clearly
that one of the requirements for REIT status is to comply with the spread requirements as
contemplated in section 4.28 of the Requirements. The company and its major shareholder had
undertaken to ensure compliance with this spread obligation by 30 June 2016 but, despite the JSE
affording the Issuer more time, have not done so.
