National and global credit rating of African Bank reaffirmed by S&P Global Ratings, with
a positive outlook


S&P Global Ratings ("S&P") have, on 30 July 2024, affirmed the African Bank 'B/B' long-
and short-term global scale ratings. S&P have also affirmed the 'zaA-/zaA-2' long- and
short-term South African national scale ratings for African Bank. The outlook remains
positive.

S&P noted that the global scale long-term rating is positive and reflective of the Bank's
strides in scaling and diversifying its franchise while maintaining a strong capitalization and
improving asset quality indicators.
