The JSE refers to the announcements dated 20 September 2023 and 16 November 2023.
The JSE released its first six simplified Sections for public consultation during 2023:

• Section 2 (Sponsors);
• New Section 4 (Corporate Governance);
• New Section 5 (Continuing Obligations);
• Section 9 (Transactions); and
• Section 10 (Related Party Transactions).
The JSE has processed public comments and made further amendments because of the project
(such as the grouping of themes as identified in other Sections under review).
The updated sections have been uploaded to the dedicated Simplification Project Portal on the JSE
website, which is the central database for the project:
https://www.jse.co.za/regulation/companies-issuer-regulation
The JSE invites comments on the updates made to these Sections by close of business on Monday, 8
April 2024, and comments can be sent to simplification@jse.co.za.
