THE SOUTH AFRICAN NATIONAL ROADS AGENCY SOC LIMITED N2 NORTH COAST,
OTHONGATHI AND MVOTI TOLL COLLECTION SUSPENSION


Debtholders are advised that on 22 April 2022, the Minister of Transport, in terms of section 28(4) read
with section 27(1) of The South African National Roads Agency Limited and National Roads Act, 1998
(Act No. 7 of 1998) the Act, announced the suspension of levying of toll at N2 oThongathi and N2 Mvoti
for all vehicles until access along the R102 or M4 in vicinity of the above plazas has been restored. The
damage to bridges on the R102 and M4, due to the KZN floods, have necessitated the closure of these
routes. Once access has been restored along R102 or M4, the levying of toll will resume for that specific
Plaza.

The cost in terms of revenue lost due to the waiver will be communicated once all estimates have been
thoroughly verified.
