MVL - Mvelaphanda Resources Limited - Declaration of special cash dividend Mvelaphanda Resources Limited (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) (Registration number: 1980/001395/06) Share Code: MVL ISIN: ZAE000050266 ("Mvela Resources") DECLARATION OF SPECIAL CASH DIVIDEND As set out in the circular to Mvela Resources shareholders, dated 18 February 2011, the Mvela Resources scheme was subject, inter alia, to a condition precedent that Mvela Resources confirm that it has net cash of not less than R650 million . Mvela Resources has confirmed that the net cash exceeds R650 million. Due to the existence of this excess, the board of directors of Mvela Resources has resolved to pay a special dividend of 31 cents per Mvela Resources ordinary share to all persons recorded as holders of Mvela Resources ordinary shares in the Mvela Resources register on the special dividend record date.
