DBXEU - db x-trackers DJ Euro Stoxx 50 ETF - Distribution announcement db x-trackers DJ Euro Stoxx 50 ETF Share Code: DBXEU ISIN: ZAE000115937 ("dbx Euro 50") A portfolio in the db x-trackers Collective Investment Scheme in Securities, registered as such in terms of the Collective Investment Schemes Control Act, 45 of 2002 DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT Holders of dbx Euro 50 securities are advised that a distribution will be made to holders of dbx Euro 50 securities in respect of the quarter ended 30 June 2009. Details of the distribution are set out below: - The distribution payable to holders will be an amount in ZAR equivalent to EUR 0.06686 (six point six eight six cents) per dbx Euro 50 security, less the applicable management fee as detailed in the Second Supplement to the Offering Circular and Pre-listing Statement dated 19 September 2005 (the "EUR distribution amount"). - The EUR distribution amount will be converted to ZAR at the exchange rate prevailing on or about Wednesday, 22 July 2009, details of which will be published on SENS on or about Thursday, 23 July 2009. - The distribution will be paid to holders on or about Tuesday, 28 July 2009. Holders of dbx Euro 50 securities who hold 100,000 or more dbx Euro 50 securities may elect to receive the distribution in EUR payable to their "foreign EUR cash account held at their applicable EUR clearer". Such election is to be conveyed to db x-trackers (Proprietary) Limited via the holder`s CSDP in the required format by no later than Monday, 20 July 2009, failing which holders will be paid the ZAR equivalent referred to above. The EUR distribution amount (which represents a pro rata portion of the distributable income of the portfolio) has been calculated after deduction of foreign withholding tax on dividends. The EUR distribution amount of EUR 0.06686 per dbx Euro 50 security is calculated as follows: - Gross foreign dividends of EUR 0.08626 (eight point six two six cents); - Less withholding tax of EUR 0.01962 (one point nine six two cents); - Plus other income (foreign interest) of EUR 0.00022 (point zero two two cent).
