APPLICABLE PRICING SUPPLEMENT
FRB hereby gives notice to the FRS276 noteholders, in accordance with the terms and conditions of
the note programme dated 29 November 2011, as amended from time to time, and in accordance with
paragraph 6.56(a) of the JSE Limited Debt Listings Requirements, of the amendment to the definition
of “ARA” contained in line item 34 of the pricing supplement from 79bps to 49bps.
The amended and restated pricing supplement for the above amendment is available for inspection at
the registered office of FRB and will be made available on the FirstRand website,

The amended and restated pricing supplement will also be available for inspection on the JSE's website,
