FINANCIAL INSTRUMENT EARLY REDEMPTION – AGT02
Absa Group – Additional Tier 1 Notes, with stock code AGT02 (the "Notes") were issued with a perpetual
maturity date and are redeemable at the Issuer's option on 28 November 2024 (the "First Optional Redemption
Date") in accordance with Condition 11.4 (Redemption at the option of the Issuer (Issuer Call)) of the Terms
and Conditions of the Additional Tier 1 Notes (as read with the Applicable Pricing Supplement of the AGT02
Notes dated 23 May 2019 (the "AGT02APS")).
In accordance with Condition 18 (Notices) of the Terms and Conditions of the Notes, notice is hereby given to
Noteholders of the Notes that the Issuer has exercised its option to early redeem the Notes on 28 November
2024. Payment of the redemption amount, together with applicable interest, will be effected on the First Optional
Redemption Date.
The redemption amount of the Notes is ZAR1,678,000,000 nominal, and the nominal amount outstanding of the
Notes after the redemption will be ZAR0.00. Absa Group will remain compliant in terms of its capital adequacy
requirements subsequent to the early redemption of the Notes. Details of the redemption amount of the Notes
are detailed below:
