UPDATED TRADING STATEMENT

In terms of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, a listed company is required to publish a trading statement as soon
as it is satisfied that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the period to be reported on
next will differ by at least 20% from the financial results for the previous corresponding period.

Further to the trading statement and operational update published on SENS on Friday, 14 October 2022, shareholders
of Quantum Foods are hereby advised that for the financial year ended 30 September 2022 (“Current Reporting
Period”) a reasonable degree of certainty exists that:

•   headline earnings per share (“HEPS”) of the Company will be between 11.5 cents and 16.7 cents, representing a
    decrease of between 78% and 68% compared to HEPS of 52.2 cents reported for the financial year ended
    30 September 2021 (“Previous Corresponding Period”); and
•   earnings per share (“EPS”) of the Company will be between 9.3 cents and 14.7 cents, representing a decrease of
    between 83% and 73% compared to EPS of 53.9 cents reported for the Previous Corresponding Period.

The financial results for the Current Reporting Period are expected to be published on SENS on or about
Friday, 25 November 2022.
