OF AN ACQUISITION OF SECURITIES IN TERMS OF SECTION 122 OF THE
COMPANIES ACT, NO. 71 OF 2008, AS AMENDED


1.   Acquisition of securities by an associate

In compliance with paragraphs 3.63 to 3.74 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, the
Company hereby discloses the following acquisition of securities by associates of directors:

2. Acquisition of securities in terms of section 122 of the Companies Act no. 71 of 2008, as
amended

In accordance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, no. 71 of 2008, as amended and
section 3.83(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are hereby advised
that the Company has received formal notification in the prescribed form that Unitas
Enterprises Limited has acquired an interest in the securities of the Company (“Acquisition”).
Following the Acquisition, the total direct interest in the securities of the Company held by
Unitas has increased from 43,05% to 46,62% of the total issued share capital of the
Company.
