SHORT-FORM ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE CONDENSED REVIEWED SIX MONTHS FINANCIAL RESULTS
ENDED 31 AUGUST 2020
The Board of Directors ("the Board") of the Company is pleased to present the reviewed results for the six
months ended 31 August 2020.
FINANCIAL OVERVIEW
The key financial indicators reflected in these financial results are:
• Net asset value per share increased by 18%, current period R12,85 compared to prior period R10,86;
• Net asset value increased by 30% when compared to the prior period, from of R583,6 million to
R756,6 million;
• Investment income increased by 160% when compared to the prior period, from R44,1 million to
R114,8 million;
• Total income before tax increased by 168% when compared to the prior period, from R38,4 million to
R103 million;
• Total income after tax increased by 161% when compared to the prior period, from R31 million to
R81 million; and
• No dividends were declared in the current and prior period.
