Shareholders are advised that Ahmed Seedat has resigned from the Board of
Directors of Awethu with effect from 15 October 2012.

We thank him for his contribution to the Board as an independent non-executive
director, as Chairman of the Social and Ethics Committee, as well as being a member
of the Audit and Risk Committee and the Remuneration and Nomination Committee.
