PREFEX SECURITIES - DISTRIBUTION FINALISATION ANNOUNCEMENT
Following     the   previous   announcement   regarding   a   possible   quarterly
distribution to the holders of PrefEx Securities, notice is hereby
given that the PrefEx Trust will make a distribution of 15.6 cents per
PrefEx Security in respect of the quarter ending 31 August 2012.


The distribution of 15.6 cents per PrefEx Security will be comprised
as follows:
Dividend (local)(to be taxed at 15%)(gross)                     10.56400 cents
Resultant net dividend                                          8.97940 cents
Dividend (foreign)(to be taxed at 15%)(gross)                   0.31718 cents
Resultant net dividend                                          0.26960 cents
Dividend (local)(subject to STC credits of 4.63988 cents i.e. exempt
from tax)(gross)                                                4.63988 cents
Resultant net dividend                                          4.63988 cents
Interest                                                        0.08328 cents


There   are    currently   18 600 000    PrefEx   Securities     in   issue.    The
distribution will be made to all PrefEx Security holders recorded in
the register on Friday, 31 August 2012. The distribution will be
effected on Wednesday, 5 September 2012.
