APPOINTMENT OF COMPANY SECRETARY
Further to the announcement released by the Company on SENS on 13 June 2023 relating to the
resignation of the company secretary, shareholders are now advised that Delta has appointed
Advocate Vasta Mhlongo as the company secretary with effect from 16 August 2023.
Ms Mhlongo is an admitted advocate of the High Court of South Africa with a track record of over 30
years’ experience as a company secretary and legal professional. She holds a B. Juris and LLB degree
from the University of South Africa, a Diploma in Legislative Drafting from University of Johannesburg
Midrand Campus, and a certificate in Investment Appraisal and Risk Management from Queens
University in Canada.
Vasta served as company secretary at the Financial Services Conduct Authority, Wesizwe Platinum
Limited and Barloworld Limited. She also served on various boards as a non-executive director,
including the International Association of Women Judges. She is a former member of the King III
Committee and Committee for Responsible Investing in South Africa(CRISA).
The board of directors of the Company are satisfied that Vasta has the experience, qualifications and
expertise to take up the position as company secretary of Delta.
