TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of paragraph 3.4(b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are
required to publish a trading statement as soon as they are satisfied that there is a reasonable
degree of certainty that the financial results for the next reporting period will differ by more than
20% from those of the previous corresponding period.
Accordingly, a review of the financial results for the year ended 30 June 2020 by management has
indicated, with a reasonable degree of certainty, that the earnings per share is expected to be
between 6.13 cents and 11.30 cents compared to the loss per share of 25.85 cents in the previous
corresponding period, being between 31.98 cents (124% increase) and 37.15 cents (144%
increase) per share higher than the year ended 30 June 2019.
Headline earnings per share is expected to be between 5.91 cents and 11.07 cents compared to
the headline loss per share of 25.81 cents in the previous corresponding period, being between
31.72 cents (123% increase) and 36.88 cents (143% increase) per share higher than the year
ended 30 June 2019.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or
reported on by SilverBridge’s auditors. SilverBridge’s financial results are expected to be released
on SENS on or about 17 September 2020.
