CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS – APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTORS



In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited, the board of directors of
Sentula (“the Board”) hereby notifies its shareholders that, with effect from 27 May 2014:

- Mr Johann Lemmer, the Acting Chief Financial Officer, has been appointed as an Executive Director and
  Financial Director of the Company. Johann is a chartered accountant with ten years’ experience. Prior to
  his appointment in 2012, as Chief Financial Officer of the Geosearch group of companies (“Geosearch”),
  a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sentula, Johann was an audit partner in BDO’s Pretoria office;

- Ms Nomfundo Quangule has been appointed as an independent non-executive director. Nomfundo who
  is a chartered accountant with 10 years’ experience in the financial services sector, has served as
  Financial Director of a listed mining company. Currently, Nomfundo is a non-executive director of a listed
  company and serves as chairperson and executive committee member of a number of private companies.
  She is also a member of the Institute of Bankers; and

- Mr Stephen (Steve) Naudé has been appointed as an independent non-executive director. Steve who is a
  chartered accountant, obtained his MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
  Steve has more than thirty years’ experience in corporate finance and investment banking in both the
  domestic and cross border markets. Currently, Steve is a non-executive director and audit committee
  chairperson of a private technology company. He is also a member of the Institute of Directors South
  Africa.

The Board welcomes Johann, Nomfundo and Steve, and looks forward to their contributions to the
Company.
