APPROVAL OF ZAR10BN SECURED ASSET-BACKED NOTE PROGRAMME
Crede is pleased to announce that the JSE Limited (“JSE”) granted formal approval of the
ZAR10 billion secured asset-backed note programme (“Crede Note Programme”) on
3 November 2022.
The overall objective of the Programme is to catalyse and increase the flow of institutional funding into
infrastructure assets in South Africa. Investors in the Notes to be issued under the Crede Note
Programme will have senior secured asset-backed debt (inflation linked or Jibar-linked) exposure in
economic and social infrastructure projects. Priority sectors include: water and sanitation, infrastructure,
housing, transport and energy.
