COURT ORDERS GRANTED FOR COMMENCEMENT OF BUSINESS RESCUE
PROCEEDINGS AND WITHDRAWAL OF CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Shareholders and interested parties are referred to the
announcements released on SENS on 9 and 18 February 2016.
The High Court of South Africa, Gauteng Local Division,
Johannesburg, today granted orders placing the Company
and its subsidiary, RBA Developments (JHB) Proprietary
Limited, under supervision and commencing business rescue
proceedings in terms of section 131(1) of the Companies
Act, 2008.
Mr Trevor Glaum was appointed as the interim business
rescue practitioner of both companies. In terms of section
140(1)(a) of the Companies Act, 2008, he will now have full
management control of both companies.
Shareholders are advised that the Company’s shares remain
suspended on the JSE and caution is no longer required to
be exercised when dealing in the company’s securities. The
business rescue practitioner will issue monthly progress
reports as required by the JSE.
