FINAL DIVIDEND FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2022
Nictus shareholders (“Shareholders”) are hereby advised that the board of directors of the Company
has declared a final gross cash dividend of 3.00 cents (2021: 5.00 cents) per ordinary share for the year
ended 31 March 2022. The dividend has been declared out of income reserves.
The salient dates for the payment of the final dividend are detailed below:
Last day to trade cum dividend Tuesday, 19 July 2022
Shares to commence trading ex-dividend Wednesday, 20 July 2022
Record date Friday, 22 July 2022
Payment date Monday, 25 July 2022
Shares may not be rematerialised or dematerialised between Wednesday, 20 July 2022 and Friday,
22 July 2022, both days inclusive.
In terms of South African taxation legislation effective from 1 April 2012 and in accordance with the JSE
Limited Listings Requirements, the following additional information is disclosed:
- the local dividend withholding tax rate is 20%;
- the net local dividend amount is 2.40000 cents per ordinary share for Shareholders liable to pay tax
on dividends and the gross local dividend amount is 3.00 cents per ordinary share for Shareholders
exempt from paying such dividend tax;
- Nictus’ income tax reference number is 9400084712; and
- Nictus’ issued share capital, as at 30 June 2022, is 53 443 500 ordinary shares.
