CANCELLATION OF NEW FINANCIAL INSTRUMENT LISTING

With reference to the SENS Announcement released on Wednesday the 27th of June 2018 for the
issuance of the City of Tshwane’s ZAR1,000,000,000 Senior Unsecured Amortising Notes (COT04)
due 29 June 2028 (the COT04 Notes) under its updated Domestic Medium Term Note Programme
dated 22 June 2018. The proposed listing of the COT04 Notes, which was supposed to settle today,
has subsequently been cancelled.
