Further to the announcements dated 26 August 2009 and 4 September 2009 regarding
the renounceable rights offer made by Paladin to its shareholders ("the Rights  
Offer"), Paladin shareholders are advised that the results of the Rights Offer, 
which closed at 12:00 on Friday, 9 October 2009, are as follows:
